The Annual New Year Message 2016 - 2023

The ANYM (Annual New Year Message) imitates forms of representation, such as Queen Elizabeth II's Christmas broadcast or German Chancellor Angela Merkel's Neujahrsansprache (New Year Address). Each year a photographer is invited to collaborate with the artist to capture his current state of mind, as well as the general zeitgeist. Every ANYM highlights a different topic, visually and as a textual speech. The ANYM launches at a different venue each year and is available in print as a limited edition, signed and numbered by the artist.
